What I Love About Pediatric Therapy: Pediatric therapy has my heart because it gives me the chance to connect with children in the way they know best - through play. There is something so special about entering a child's world, following their lead, and using their interests to help them learn, grow, and find their voice. I love creating a space where children feel safe, valued, and free to be themselves, knowing they have someone who believes in them every step of the way. Some of my favorite moments are watching a child light up when they accomplish something they once thought was impossible or seeing their confidence grow with each small success. I also cherish the relationships I build with families. Supporting parents, celebrating milestones together, and providing encouragement along the journey are just as meaningful to me as the therapy itself. It is an incredible privilege to be part of a child's story, as we work together to help their children communicate, connect, and thrive.
Outside the Clinic: When I'm not at work, you'll usually find me outside soaking up the fresh air. I love spending time with my family and our dogs, whether we're exploring outdoors or simply enjoying a quiet day together. Caring for our chickens has become one of my favourite hobbies, and I find so much joy in the simple routines that come with it. I also enjoy practicing yoga, which helps me slow down and recharge, and I'm always up for a good puzzle that challenges my mind.
